The CyclOps project officially started its journey last January 2024. CyclOps celebrated its kick-off event in early January and it was held at the NTT DATA Spain offices in Barcelona. The CyclOps consortium involves 24 partners from 11 different countries including large companies and SMEs, Research Institutes & Universities, and associations; NTT DATA Spain, one of the large technological enterprises, manages the coordination of the project.
The kick-off meeting was planned to serve as a good opportunity to get to know better the consortium partners, ensure alignment and a common understanding of the project and its activities across all partners, plan the next steps, and start working together.
The event had among its main objectives to establish from the very beginning a collaborative way of working, devoting most of its time to workshops and working sessions focused on different activities (e.g. defining use-cases, baseline technologies, requirements, initial architecture, dissemination and communication, exploitation, etc.), designed to make sure an active participation of all partners.
This collaborative spirit has laid down within CyclOps partners that are now working on defining the CyclOps landscape in weekly meetings and supported by the organization of several co-creation and ideation workshops. In this way, the consortium is working together on the analysis of the use cases, their required data processing pipelines, users, stakeholders, barriers, and how CyclOps supports them, among other aspects.
The project is now preparing its 2nd plenary meeting in mid-June, where all partners will meet again face-to-face to continue discussions and launch new project activities.
