CyclOps Autumn School
|
The CyclOps Autumn School 2026 will be from 15–16 October 2026. In this two days we will explore Knowledge Graphs, Virtual Knowledge Graphs, ontologies, data mappings, representation learning, Transformers, LoRA and Large Language Models (LLMs).
The programme combines theoretical sessions, demonstrations and practical applications, covering topics from Knowledge Graphs and semantic data access to knowledge-driven AI workflows in CyclOps.

New success story
|
At CyclOps we’ve shown that open technology and interoperability make a real difference. Inspired by the IDEATION Reference Use Case, we collected heterogeneous data from the Aliakmon River, managed it seamlessly through the WATERVERSE platform, and analysed it within CyclOps to estimate river flow and plastic concentrations. These results were published on the EDITO platform to enable coastal transport simulations, which generated maps of micro- and macroplastic concentrations, particle trajectories towards the sea, estimates of the plastic mass balance in the coastal zone.
This case demonstrates that our tools are domain-agnostic and integrate with other systems to turn data into actionable decisions.

Data Lifecycle Cluster
|
CyclOps is proud to be part of the Data Lifecycle Cluster, a group of five Horizon Europe projects working side by side to shape the future of data management across Europe:
-
CyclOps – Automating trustworthy data lifecycles
-
DS2 – Driving intersector data spaces with a practical toolkit
-
CEDAR EU – Fostering transparent public governance through data spaces and AI
-
NOUS – Building decentralised, secure cloud-to-edge infrastructure
-
PLIADES project – Advancing reference architectures for next-gen data spaces
We've published a full blog article breaking down how these projects connect and complement each other — plus a visual flyer for a quick overview.

CyclOps Plenary Meeting No. 6 – Barcelona
On 15-16 July, the CyclOps partner meeting brings us together partners to shape the next phase of the project. We worked closely to refine the updated CyclOps approach and architecture, map out workflow integration, align our technical releases with upcoming use cases validation, and share progress on our communication and dissemination activities.

CyclOps around Europe
Our partners have been actively engaging in major events:
-
5th International Printing Technologies Symposium (Printistanbul 2026) - Cyclops was there taking part in discussions, exchange views and network with academics, teachers and anyone interested in printing technologies from around the world
-
Data Week 2026 (Oslo) - CyclOps was proud to take part in inspiring discussions on data spaces, AI-driven innovation and resilient digital ecosystems
-
13th Conference of the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation in Spain, “Between Two Programmes, Horizon Europe” (Barcelona) - Cyclops was represented in this conference, which highlights the latest developments in Horizon Europe, the role of Spanish entities in the programme’s final calls, and the transition towards the future EU Framework Programme from 2028

Celebrating Europe Day
At 9 May we celebrate international cooperation as a cornerstone of responsible data governance — the foundation for sharing knowledge and enabling new data-driven business models across Europe. At CyclOps, we are working towards automated, interoperable, trustworthy and secure management, governance and maintenance of the full data lifecycle — across distributed and heterogeneous sources — to drive shared data spaces at a European scale.
